1. What is Registered Massage Therapy

Registered massage therapy is the manual treatment of the soft tissues of the body, including muscles, connective tissues, tendons, ligaments, fascia and joints that is done by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMTs). RMTs undergo 2,200 hours of massage training and must pass an examination to become registered.

2. Do I need a doctor's referral to get a massage in Calgary?

No! You do not need a medical doctor’s referral to receive registered massage therapy.

3. How long of a massage do I need?
