Carly has been working with people of all ages in social service and support roles for over ten years. Carly brings compassion and insight to her work with adolescents and adults, helping them achieve more fulfilling, meaningful, and healthier lives.
Carly has experience and expertise in working with a multitude of presenting problems, including depression, anxiety, disordered eating and body image, stress and coping skills, and life transitions. Carly tailors each counselling experience to the client she is working with, incorporating an array of therapeutic approaches to best meet a client’s needs.
Carly graduated from Concordia University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature and Sociology, with a specialization in Family Systems and Gender; she then spent many years working as an Individual and Family Support Worker with not-for-profit organizations in Vancouver. Carly then returned to school, graduating from the University of Lethbridge with a Masters of Counselling Psychology in 2014 and has worked with youth, adults, and families in the Calgary area as a Canadian Certified Counsellor ever since.
